Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats

Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats - Chew Nibble Nosh

Looking for a simple St. Patrick’s Day treat to surprise your littlest (and biggest) leprechauns?  These ooey-gooey treats are the perfect thing.  They are ridiculously simple, taking only five minutes to make, and the result is pretty darn drool worthy.  In fact, my family preferred these to the “other” marshmallow-cereal treat we all know and love.  (Not that I’d ever turn one of those down, but these are pretty great.)

I started by measuring out ten cups of Lucky Charms cereal into a large bowl.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Bars

Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars - Chew Nibble NoshSome things, you never outgrow.  There’s just something about peanut butter and jelly that comforts, and takes me back to simpler times.  It’s not often that I grab a PB&J for lunch now that I’m all grown up.  It usually only happens when it’s “that time again” to run to the grocery store because we’re out of everything else.  But, when I do have one, it’s always comforting.

It’s that time of year again!  My friends in Louisiana are rolling out the floats, lining up their ladders and getting ready to celebrate Mardi Gras.  Next Tuesday is Mardi Gras Day, but the parades and festivities start long before that.  By Tuesday, however, the town will be packed from end to end with visitors from all over the world, who love to call New Orleans home for a few days every year and party like there’s no tomorrow.  Come Wednesday though, the streets are quiet, the celebrations cease, and the community turns towards the season of Lent.

Lemon and Raspberry Bars

Isn’t the Internet grand?  You have an idea, throw it into a search engine and endless possibilities pop up.   That was the case with this recipe.  I knew I wanted to make something for dessert (It was one of those days…) and I had some lemons and raspberries calling my name.  The combination of lemon and raspberry is one of my favorites, especially in the summer.  So light, and tart, but still sweet….Mmmm.  It’s good stuff.
